The colour green is used for service during Ordinary Time. After the Epiphany and Christmas, and before Lent. As well as between Easter and Advent.
The green colour in the Catholic church symbolizes life, hope, youth, victory, peace, fertility and immortality. Green chasubles are used almost all year round in the ordinary period - per annum. In the Bible, green is represented as the color of the Lord's Garden. Additionally, the Bishop's Cross is green, which gives hope for a soul's journey to paradise.

Hi Karol!! Rev. John Olsson from the USA here! I have a question for you regarding your green chasuble #157-01Z. First, can this chasuble be done in damask rather than plain material as shown; and second, would be be possible in constructing this chasuble to OMIT the collar at the neck, but take the embroidering found ON the collar and place that embroidery ON THE BODY of the chasuble itself but AROUND the hole for the head at the center of the chasuble RATHER than as it is pictured ON THE COLLAR which I would have you omit. If this works for your team, WHAT WOULD THE COST OF SUCH A VESTMENT THEN BE??? As always, Karol, MANY thanks to you and your wonderful team for the marvelous work you have ALWAYS done for me AND>> for your tireless efforts to ship vestments to me in the USA IN SPITE of the "problems" brought about by the current president of our country!! Blessings as always to you and your team, as you all remain in my constant prayers given your proximity to Ukrane!! Rev. John
