In our Ackerman vestment shop we offer you a wide choice of surplices for catholic priests in Roman style. A surplice is a white linen liturgical vestment worn by clergy at Christian church services. A surplice form a kind of tunic with moderately wide sleeves made from linen or cotton fabric.
You will find in our shop a wide selection of cottas worn by Catholic priests.
The cottas and surplices are made from plain fabric and beautifully decorated with guipure at the bottom and on sleeves. Some of surplices offered by our vestment shop are decorated with beautiful embroidery of Jerusalem crosses on sleeves and at the bottom. However the most popular ones are without any guipure and decorations. Typically the cottas and surplices are pure white with white guipure. Our vestments are easy to maintain in good shape. You can wash them in normal washing machine but do not tumble dry. You can use an iron as well as a steam iron for keeping your surplice in good condition. We recommend not to use fabric softener and bleach.
